About Joe

Joe Horan is the Executive Director of Building Men Program, Inc. based in Syracuse, New York. He holds a bachelor’s and master’s degree from SUNY Cortland and has 25 five years’ experience as a coach and educator. He founded the Building Men Program in 2006 as an option for middle school boys to develop their significance, integrity, and relationships. The program has grown into a full district initiative in Syracuse and Joe is now an author, speaker, and Professional Development Trainer. He is a father to three beautiful children and lives in Syracuse, NY with his wonderful wife, MaryPat.
